Linden Summer Happenings Road Races

1 Mile and 5K

8:30 and 9:00 AMish (after the train)

 

Where:  Races start and finish in Downtown Linden near the historic Linden Mill.  The 1 mile course will run near downtown and through Fairview Cemetery.  The 5K will be run on a loop north of downtown and finish in front of the Mill.  Other information on the Linden Summer Happenings can be found on www.lindensummerhappening.org

 

Registration/Packet Pick-up/Parking:  Late registration and packet pick-up will take place in the cafeteria of Hyatt Elementary (formerly Linden Middle School), 325 Stan Eaton Drive.  Please park here for the race.  Late registration will open at 7 a.m.  Since the starting line is approximately ˝ mile into town, registration/packet pick-up for the mile will close at 8 a.m., and at 8:30 a.m. for the 5K.

 

Awards:  Medals for everyone 11 and under who runs either event.  Over-all male and female, over-all master male and female, and awards for the top three finishers in each age group, plus overall male and female who run both events (lowest total time).  T-Shirts guaranteed to all early registered runners.   Awards will be presented at the Mill Pond Gazebo adjacent to the finish line immediately after the race.  Stay after and enjoy the Classic Car show which will take place in town after the race.  Results will be posted on runmichigan.com after the race.
