Transportation Update:

Dear Parents,

 From all of us here at Laidlaw Education Services we would like to Welcome you back for the 2007-2008 school year.

At Laidlaw we strive to work with the schools to provide a safe, reliable transportation consistent with their needs.  We have been working very hard all summer, and have completed your school bus routing for the 2007-2008 year.

In accordance with the Linden School Districts request, we decreased the number of routes that we will provide this year.  This will affect some routes either in their directions, or in their duration.  Stops have been evaluated and meet all necessary legal and safety requirements.  Among the route changes that you will notice are:  "community" stops, and areas in which children will be required to cross.

The routes will be posted in the Tri-County Times newspaper in the August 26th issue.  We will have maps available to view at each building during their scheduled open houses.  In addition, if you are a new elementary parent to our district, or have a Kindergarten student attending Argentine Elementary you are encouraged to attend the Bus Carnival on August 22nd, at either 12:00-2:00 or 5:00-7:00 p.m.  At that time you will receive your bus symbol tag, and all other route information.  If you have any questions, please feel free to log on to the Linden Community Schools Web Site at www.lindenschools.org, or call our transportation department at (810) 591-0996.  Thank you for your time and patience.
