Cross Country Championships

 

 

Linden High School is honored to host the FML Cross Country Championships this fall. It our goal to run a fair, efficient meet and to give your athletes the best possible conditions under which to compete.

 

Location: Linden High/Middle School             Host: Linden High School

 

Time Schedule:             Varsity Boys                     4:30 P.M.

                                      Varsity Girls                     5:00 P.M.

                                      Boys’ Reserve Race            5:30 P.M.

                                      Girls’ Reserve Race            6:00 P.M.

                                      Awards Ceremony            6:30 P.M.

 

Entries:       All entries are to be done online at http://www.sydexsports.com. Please enter                           up to seven athletes in the varsity race. Enter all other competitors in the

                   reserve race. You will be allowed to make changes upon arrival.

 

Entry Deadline: Sunday, October 12, 7:00 P.M.

 

Awards:      1st Team All-League will receive gold medals (1-7)

                   2nd Team All-League will receive silver medals (8-14)

                   Honorable Mention will be recognized in the ceremony (15-21)

                   First place team will receive the league championship trophy

                   Ribbons will be awarded to the top 20 competitors in each reserve race

                   (Ribbons to be handed out in the chute, not at the awards ceremony)

 

Concessions: A concession stand will be open to serve beverages, snacks and pizza.

 

T-shirts:     A limited number of long sleeve Metro League XC shirts will be available.

                   The cost will be $15.
