In order
to earn a varsity letter on the Men’s Track and Field Team you must finish the
season in good standing and do at least one of the following:
1.
Accumulate 12 points in varsity meets.*
2.
Earn a medal at a varsity invitational.
3.
Juniors with at least 1 year of previous experience.
4.
Seniors with at least 1 year of previous experience.
5.
If you meet or exceed the performance standard
listed below at least 2 times during competition. (No relay splits).

You may also earn up to 4 varsity points by
utilizing team study hall. (1 hr = 1 pt) Study hall will begin the week following
spring break. It will typically be from 4:45 to 5:30 on Tuesday and Thursday.
It will be held in Mr. Lawhorne’s room.
One point will be earned if you can recite
the order of events for 2007 when Mr. Lawhorne or Mr.
Douglass ask you at practice or during a meet.
