We would like to
invite your school to participate in the Twenty-Seventh Annual Linden Cross
Country Classic. The meet will be held
at
As we did last
fall, we intend to do team scoring for the high school JV races. Hopefully it
will provide a little extra incentive for your sub-varsity competitors to
achieve a personal record. There will be no junior varsity team trophies, but
complete results will be provided at the conclusion of the meet. As always, the
top 20 boys and girls in these races will earn medals.
In addition to the
high school boys and girls championships, we are hosting a middle school team
race and a middle school/youth open race. There is no entry fee for the middle
school/youth open as long as your high school or middle school has entered a
team. If no team is entered, the cost is $5 per competitor. The middle school
team race will be run on a 2-mile course and will be conducted under MHSAA
rules.
All finishers will
be timed and the times will be available after each race. Complete meet results
will be available shortly after the meet. You may make roster changes on the
day of the meet.
A concession stand
will be available throughout the meet with light snacks and pizza at around
11:00. Souvenir T-Shirts will again be
on sale at a cost of $10.00.

will be done online at sydexsports.com. There will be six races listed in the
Linden Classic. Make sure you enter your athletes into ALL of the CORRECT
races. Enter your top seven (or fewer) into the varsity race and all other
competitors into the JV race. You may scratch and/or substitute the day of the
meet.
