Hello, my name is Mike Engelter. I am the Assistant Superintendent of Business and Personnel Services at Linden Community Schools. I am responsible for overseeing the district’s financial, transportation, food service and human resources functions.

After earning a bachelor's degree in Economics and Management from Albion College, I became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).  I spent five years in public accounting where I specialized in governmental and non-profit auditing and consulting. Auditing school districts throughout southern Michigan led to me working as the Accounting Supervisor for Lincoln Consolidated Schools.  In 2005, I was happy to join the staff of Linden Schools as Business Manager.  At the close of my first year in Linden, my job was reorganized with additional roles and responsibilities and I became the Assistant Superintendent.

I am the proud father of two sons and a daughter.  My free time is spent at t-ball games, wrestling meets, talking about Hello Kitty and her friends, and getting beaten by my children at video games.

It has been my great pleasure to serve Linden and I look forward to continuing to support Linden Schools in our work at being a top-notch district for students, staff, and the community.
