Hello and welcome to Linden Elementary! The 2007-2008 school year will be my second year with the Linden Elementary team. I am excited to continue leading such a fantastic group of people! Prior to my coming to Linden I was a teacher for the Fenton Area Schools for thirteen years and most recently was principal for the Montrose Community Schools for seven years. I am a graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, and Oakland University with a Master’s Degree in Curriculum, Instruction & Leadership.
Coming to Linden Elementary has felt like moving home since I lived in Linden for fourteen years! The feeling of community and school pride continues to be evident every single day. I am excited to continue working with the staff, students and parents as we continue to make Linden Elementary such an outstanding elementary school!
I encourage you to join the Linden Elementary PALS (Parents Active in Linden Schools) organization. This group of teachers and parents is a fantastic resource for our school and is always looking for new members. What a great way to learn more about Linden Elementary, and meet new people too! Please contact the office (591-9130) if you are interested. The volunteer efforts put forth by this group of parents and staff make a very positive impact on our students.
The Linden Elementary staff is an exceptional group of people that strives on a daily basis to help your child succeed not only in school, but in life. We are excited to be part of the parent and school team that is so important to your child’s development. The lessons that your children are learning today will stay with them for a lifetime.
