Michigan Competitive Scholarship Award- website


Based on the sum of a student's ACT scores in English, math, reading, and science reasoning. In order to receive an honorary certificate, the student must achieve a qualifying summary score of at least 90 or a composite score of at least 23
.


Michigan Promise Scholarship- website


Based on the MEAP or MME test depending on your year of graduation.


National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC)

Students who take the PSAT/NMSQT may qualify to enter the competitions for prestigious scholarships and may participate in recognition programs. NMSC is an independent, not-for-profit organization that conducts two academic competitions for recognition and scholarships- the National Merit Scholarship Program and the National Achievement Scholarship Program. The PSAT/NMSQT serves as an initial screen of participants in NMSC programs.

Detailed descriptions of NMSC programs are published in the Guide to the National Merit Scholarship Program and the National Achievement Scholarship Program Informational Booklet, mailed to high school principals each fall. For students and parents, information about the competitions is given in the PSAT/NMSQT Student Bulletin and on the web at www.nationalmerit.org

Mary Huyck Masonic Lodge Scholarship

 

Info: Receive up to $1,000, must have a cumulative grade of a 2.5 to a 4.0, must write an essay about his/her self and why they should receive this scholarship.
