ENGLISH ~ SOCIAL STUDIES

Classroom Rules

1. One person speaks at a time.

2. Be prepared, bring all of your materials/supplies to class.

3. Be respectful of others .

4. Keep your hands, feet and objects to yourself.

5. Follow directions the first time they are given.

Students displaying positive behavior will be rewarded with:

1. Verbal Praise

2. A variety of different tangible treats.

3. Positive communication sent home (phone calls, notes)

If a student breaks a rule: The school discipline program will go into affect. Information of the school discipline program may be found in the student handbook on page 17-18.

Severe disruptions will result in immediate referral to the office:

1. Fighting, violent behavior 4. Vandalism

2. Defying authority 5. Stopping the class from functioning.

3. Profanity 6. Lewd or suggestive speech or actions

For these offensives, students are referred directly to the Assistant Principal
