Samantha Moule 3rd Grade Teacher Hyatt Elementary Samantha Moule Attended Michigan State University and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education. She grew up in Milford, MI, and says she values and enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially when the weather is nice, and they can be outside on the water!    She says she is passionate about teaching and making a lasting impact on her students.  We asked, Why do you want to work for Linden Community Schools?  She said, I want to work for Linden Community Schools because it is clear to see the strong community that Linden is. Katelyn Gorny Science Teacher Linden Middle School Katelyn Gorny Attended Oakland University and has earned a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Education. She is a mom of a one and half year old, “who is my whole world!” Her husband, Travis, is a welder.  They have called Linden home for five years and love it.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, going on walks, reading books, watching sports games, and sipping coffee.  We asked, “Why do you want to work for LCS?”  She said, “Linden is home, and I am excited to work in the community I live in. Linden Community Schools will be where my daughter goes to school, and I am looking forward to being on the same schedule as her.  I am passionate about teaching and learning, and I can’t wait to bring that passion to LCS!” Welcome to the team! #LINDENEAGLETEAM
Ian Crampton, 5th Grade Teacher, Central Elementary,Ian Crampton Earned his Master of Education in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University.   He enjoys plenty of family and friend time, staying active and busy outside of his daily responsibilities.  Half of the year is spent playing hockey, and the other half is spent golfing.  We asked, “Why do you want to work for LCS?”  He said, “I want to work for LCS because I have a strong desire to give back to the community that raised me. The opportunity to guide youth into adulthood and eventual members of society is a privilege. I believe I have been prepared to do just that.” Welcome to the team! #LINDENEAGLETEAM
Kelsie Vanitvelt, 4th grade teacher at Central Elementary -Kelsie Vanitvelt Earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from SVSU.   She was born & raised in Grand Blanc, MI.  Her family, friends, and community are very important to her. She says, “I have always known that I wanted to be a teacher and have the opportunity to help shape the minds of future generations.”  She grew up playing volleyball and has a passion not only for teaching, but also for coaching.  She added, “I am excited to begin my career at Linden Community Schools and look forward to building relationships with the Linden Community.” Welcome to the team! #LINDENEAGLETEAM
Welcome Katie Wright, Administrative Assistant Hyatt Elementary. Katie Wright joins the Hyatt Elementary team!  She enjoys reading, baking, camping with friends, and exploring the outdoors with her family.  They are also avid fishermen and hunters. She said she wanted to work for Linden Community Schools because the entire district encapsulates what our small-town community is.  The parents are highly involved, the teachers are incredibly attentive, and to be able to support these two groups to ensure our children are successful in a kind and caring environment is truly a privilege. Earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan. He and his wife have two young children and enjoy watching them play together and learn how to do new things. He is passionate about Linden cross country and working with athletes, which he has done for the last five years. He is also excited to start in track and field this upcoming spring! He loves all things sports, being outside, and spending time with friends and family. We asked, “Why do you want to work for LCS? “ He said, “I was lucky enough to have received a phenomenal education from Linden. When I realized that fulfillment to me looked like helping and witnessing young adults achieve more than they thought possible, teaching was a natural career choice.
