On May 5, 2026, voters in the Linden Community Schools district will consider a Zero-Tax-Rate-Increase Sinking Fund Replacement that would continue funding for critical school facility needs without increasing the current tax rate.
The proposal includes a levy rate of the current 1.1760 mills for 10 years (2027–2036) and replaces the district’s existing sinking fund, which expires December 31, 2026. If approved, the measure would allow LCS to continue addressing facility, safety, and infrastructure needs while keeping instructional dollars focused on students and classrooms. #lindeneaglepride
