Paige Weber School Nurse L I N D E N C O M M U N ITY S C H O O L S L I N D E N C O M M U N ITY S C H O O L S Paige Weber earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University. She and her husband Nathan have been married for seven years and they have four kids together. She enjoys traveling and doing anything outdoors. Mackinac Island is her favorite place to visit! She chose Linden because she said it is a close tight-knit community. She also looks forward to bringing her experience and knowledge to a new area in nursing by working with our students. Danielle Loynes School Nurse L I N D E N C O M M U N ITY S C H O O L S L I N D E N C O M M U N ITY S C H O O L S Danielle Loynes earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from U of M - Flint. We asked why she wanted to work in our district with students and she said, “I have always enjoyed being around kids. I love how their minds work, watching their excitement, helping them, and watching them grow.” She has two children who keep her busy with multiple sports, and they have a Yorkie named Regiie. She loves to spend time with her family and friends. She also enjoys being outside in the summer and vacationing. #LINDENEAGLETEAM

Philicia Thomas Recess Aide Hyatt Elementary L I N D E N C O M M U N I T Y S C H O O L S Philicia Thomas chose to work for LCS because her children have been a part of the district for six years now and she wants to get more involved in helping out! She is a mom of four girls ages 12, 9, 6, and 4. She is a wife (married for 13 years), they have 3 dogs, and she is a coach for Linden Little League Major Girls and has been a stay-at-home mom for the last 12 years. Summer Zielke Cook Aide Linden Middle School L I N D E N C O M M U N I T Y S C H O O L S Summer Zielke and her family are new to Linden, but she says she can tell it’s a great place to be a part of. She loves animals, enjoys outdoor activities and her favorite season is fall. She also loves spending time with her family, baking, bike riding, and dance parties. We asked why she decided to work with students and she said, “First, my daughters are students here and second, I know I can help make a difference, even if it’s just with a smile and a kind word.” #LINDENEAGLETEAM

Ginger Thomas Intervention Tutor Linden Elementary School L I N D E N C O M M U N I T Y S C H O O L S Ginger Thomas earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Wayne State University. She is married and has two children who attend LInden Schools. We asked why she decided to work with students. She said, “I knew I wanted to work in schools since I was a child. I became a teacher and taught 1st grade for several years before taking a break to stay home with my children. Mary Eagle Special Education Paraprofessional Central Elementary School Mary Eagle has been married for 46 years, has two children who graduated from Linden and three grandkids! Besides her family, she loves gardening, going to their cabin in the U.P., and car shows. Her first experience working with special needs population was as an aide on the ISD school buses and she absolutely loved the job. Jerry Parker Math Interventionist Linden Middle School Jerry Parker is a retired teacher and after a year away from teaching and working with kids, he decided he wanted to get back into a school setting. He missed the interaction with students and helping them learn math. He is married to his wife Julie, and they live in Linden. He also enjoys boating and fishing. We are pleased to introduce the newest member of our team... Meredith Barton Biology Teacher Linden High School Meredith Barton attended Albion College and Eastern Michigan University. We asked why she decided to work in education and she said, "After I graduated from Albion I spent a few years figuring out what exactly I wanted to do. I knew I loved biology and science, but the pandemic really pushed me to figure out what I wanted to do-and education was always what I went back to. I stopped fighting and jumped in and I couldn't be more excited!" She also said she loves the idea of a small close-knit community. The staff here seem so supportive & I've heard nothing but great things! #LINDENEAGLETEAM

She graduated from Linden High School in 2012. She has been married for almost 10 years and has two boys. They like dirt biking and riding their four-wheeler. We asked, "Why did you decide to work with students?" She replied, "When I was little, I loved learning so much that I made my siblings play school with me! I love helping students find a love of learning and they inspire me every day!" She is engaged to her best friend, Tony, and they have a very goofy cat.
