We asked, "Why did you decide to work in education?" His response, "The impact that the educators in my life had on me, inspired me to want to be a part of the future student's educational journey. Teaching allows me to give a love of learning to others." He lives in Fenton and has a dog named Stella. He loves running, music and gaming.

Image of man with text we are please to introduce the newest member of our team...Mike Callard Special Education Paraprofessional Linden High School Mike Callard lives in Linden, is married and has two children who graduated from Linden. He spent 35 years as a UPS driver in the Fenton/Linden area and enjoyed the community relations he built over the years. Since retirement from UPS he had the privilege to work with special needs children & said he is looking forward to working in the schools and helping these students.

The youngest attends Hyatt Elementary School, which happens to be the school she graduated from! She chose to work in Linden because of the nostalgia... it is where she attended, her children, and now her grandchildren.

I wanted to be part of a great team." She is a mom of five awesome kids and is married to a USMC veteran. She moved to MI four years ago from sunny California. She loves being outside in the summer and exploring the beauty of Michigan.

He retired from LakeVille Community Schools in 2021. He said, "After being out of the school environment for more than a year, I realized I missed the interactions with students." He also enjoys golfing and traveling. Welcome to the team!

LCS welcomes Alexandria Osinga Cook Hyatt Elementary Alexandria Osinga has children who attend Linden Community Schools and is looking forward to working in the district so she can be close to them while they are in school. She enjoys spending time with her family and her pets. She has two cats named Oliver & Taz and a dog named Jolene. Welcome Alexandria!

She enjoys spending time outside in the sun, traveling and making new memories with her family. She chose to work at LCS because of the flexibility of having a similar schedule as her kids. She also loves the school setting and community Linden has.

She is married and has a daughter in kindergarten at Hyatt Elementary. Her family has a history of working for schools - her mom 26 years and her aunt spent 36 years in our district. She loves the Linden community because there is always something to do and everyone is friendly. We asked why she wants to work in a school district, she said, "I love being around kids... it brings me joy!"
